I can not tell up how many times I've cut myself on the coin door locking latch while trying to power on my machine. Most people have a ton of wires coming off of your coin door and tucking them back in to shut the door can get tiresome. You could always put your computer in some place other then under your cabinet but I think hiding the computer adds more intrigue when guests arrive. The button I used is a HAPP button (#54-0004-3*) with a custom made "START" legend. Of course you can use any type of pushbutton of your choice (including competition).

Installing the START legend is a simple task of going through the rear of the button with a long device and pushing the button out.
Tapping into your computer power on wire is a simple task.
Locate your power on switch going into the motherboard.
Separate the two wires which in my case were orange an white (some may have different colors).
DO NOT CUT THE WIRES (you may one day need the normal power on) simply strip a little of each wire using a razor blade. Be very careful because these wires are very thin and held together by 5 strands. You can easily rip them if you are not very careful. If you have steady hands you could directly solder to the motherboard.
After your done solder the stranded wire to each of the exposed wire.
Next electrical tape them, be careful if the negative and positive wires touch you will short the computer out.
Hook them back to your pushbutton via crimp connectors and presto another successful install. If you are hooked up correctly you can boot the computer from the button. If not, switch the polarity (+, -) of the two crimped connectors. Now you can mount this pushbutton any place and power-up easily. I suggest keeping it in an out of reach area so someone doesn't get itching fingers. When you want everything on/off in unison marry this technique with a Bits Limited Powerstrip for fantastic results.
