HOW IT WORKS

The Bits Limited powerstrip is just a normal surge protector that you can purchase at any store. There is one great advantage that sets this product in a class all by itself. After you hit the "power on" of the item in the control outlet everything else that is plugged into the automatically switched outlets will...turn on everything automatically and respectfully turn off also. Say for instance you have your marquee light, computer, monitor, and other powered devices plugged in. All you need to do is plug the computer into the control outlet plug and everything else will turn on automatically for you when you press the computer on button. In other words there is no need to flip the surge protector switch when you want to start gaming. The constant hot outlets are always on so use those as you see fit...or not at all.

You may have to adjust the sensitivity on the protector, you need just the right setting to have it turn everything off/on when you power up/down. There is a simple dial on top of the unit which allows you to adjust this.

Another great idea is the use of a separate button to power on your computer. Just rig a button off of your computer's "power on button" and place it in an out of the way place. Pressing this button is all you need to get everthing else up and running fast.
